Tournament Tips

Tournaments are starting up again, so there’s most likely going to be a lot of time spent at the rinks with multiple games going on.

Some tips I find helpful for tournaments are:

  1. Getting lots of rest whenever possible
  2. Drink a lot of water
  3. Eat healthy
  4. STRETCH!- this is probably one of the most important things to do since there’s not a lot of time to recover between games sometimes
  5. Spend a lot of time with your team- there’s nothing better than a tournament to bond with your team

Tournaments are weekends full of being able to watch ringette the whole time, which I find one of the best ways to spend the weekend. I love being able to watch different games and pick up on new skills and things to watch out for when playing certain teams.
