Westerns were so much more than I thought they would be. I wasn’t too sure what to expect with it being my first time experiencing it. I want to thank U14AA Calgary 212, Open A Calgary Blitz, and Open A Winnipeg Goons for letting me join you on your bench during your games to take pictures. Being on the bench with you made taking pictures 10 times better because I got to combine two things I love.
I think that the tournament went really well for its size and the type of tournament that the Western Canadian Ringette Championships is. From the games that I got to see they were played with so much determination and intensity. It was an amazing tournament to have in Calgary this year and I’m sure that it helped bring more awareness to the sport and that it showcases how amazing ringette is.
What are your thoughts on how WCRC went this year?
Congrats to all teams that participated you all helped display the best ringette in the West!
I will be uploading some of the photos I took during the tournament to my flickr account so stay tuned for those! (they will be up by the end of Monday I ran into some computer problems at the beginning of the week so I will get them up as soon as I can)
