Highlights on Last Season

Last season held a lot of amazing games and a lot of amazing events throughout the entire season.

For me last season it started off with the team I coached winning the Lonnie Krahn Classic on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014 in a very tense game against BV Blitz. I got the change to go to the Ed Horvath Interprovincial tournament in Medicine Hat that I’ve wanted to go to for quite a few years now, and I got the catch up with a lot of people I know and got to watch some of the girls I’ve coached play at a higher level.

Then there was the Esso Golden Ring tournament that I’m always looking forward to. It’s such a busy weekend with it being the biggest tournament in the world for ringette.

After Esso Golden Ring I was at Provincial Playdowns, Provincials on the bench with Calgary Rath, Western Canadian Ringette Championships, and the Ringette Alberta Challenge.

The team I coached came in second in Provincial Playdowns, which got them into Provincials. They won city playoffs, which was an amazing experience since I never won city playoffs while I was playing. During Provincials they came in eighth place.

Western Canadian Ringette Championships being here in Calgary was amazing because there were so many amazing games to watch.
